Transition Program
Welcome to the Rocklin Unified Adult Transition Program. The program has been designed to support student's ages 18-22 years of age. The term transition services means a coordinated set of activities that are designed to improve academic and functional achievement of a student with a disability and facilitate the student's movement from school to post-secondary education, vocational education, employment, continuing and adult services, independent living and community participation. The Adult Transition Program will prepare students with disabilities for meaningful employment and independent living. Students learn functional English and math, current events, independent living skills, job skills, cooking and nutrition/health, community safety, self advocacy and mobility skills.
