Fiscal Services
The Rocklin Unified School District’s (RUSD) Fiscal Services Department oversees budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, and compliance. Its mission is to ensure the responsible management of the District’s financial resources, supporting the schools' educational goals and operational needs.
- Handles all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and transparency in managing District funds
- Provides budgetary projections and oversight
- Manages and oversees payroll and benefits
- Prepares financial reports for local, state, and federal entities
- Monitors expenditures to maximize resources and maintain budget compliance
- Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations
- Oversees payroll and benefits administration
- Manages bond administration and the accounting of construction and modernization projects
- Assists school sites and program managers with budgeting and accounting
